“I want to thank the Honorable Dr. Willie Holmes, Dr. Willie Homes Ministries, Family and partners that have supported the vision of Dr. Holmes faithfully year after year. It is a tremendous honor to receive this award on behalf of my family and a remnant from this community that have excepted the great commission of God. Men and women that have co-labored with us to bring good tidings and change to Southern California and the world. A Humanitarian is a person that promotes human welfare and social reform, showing kindness and bringing aid. Individuals that involve themselves in social reform seek to raise the quality of life for others.
I met Dr. Willie Holmes over 10 years ago at a revival meeting in Fullerton that changed my life forever. That night Dr. Vanessa Holmes was healed of Cancer and I was introduced to the Spirit of God. Our lives and the lives of our family changed forever that night. Since then we have worked together for years helping out the City Of Santa Ana and Orange County by endorsing the unification of Latino and African American Communities. Our community has had the honor to have leaders that led my generation by example like Dr. Holmes that taught us the fundamentals of Christ and of humanitarianism. Humanitarianism is an ethic of kindness, benevolence and sympathy extended universally and impartially to all human beings. Humanitarianism can also be described as the acceptance of every human being for plainly just being another human, ignoring and abolishing biased social views, prejudice, and racism in the process.
I recently was appointed by the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C. as an Ambassador to Native Nations. The Native American Youth have a spacial place in my heart. Dr. Holmes and I have worked together to bring reform to the White Mountain Apache in Whiteriver Arizona. While God used me to influence the young, the Lord used Dr. Holmes to bless families and elders from many different reservations and communities by preaching the foundational word of God.
I Except the Eagle Award on behalf of those working in the field helping to change the lives of this Nation and the WORLD.
